Joining LINK
Can we try a session first?
Your child’s first session is free as a taster. Contact us or request to join the relevant Spond group so we can help you find the right session and arrange attendance.
Can players from other clubs attend?
Yes. Our public open coaching sessions welcome players from other clubs as well as LINK players. Team training is for squad members; new players should enquire about joining before attending.
Payments & fees
Team membership
- 1 midweek session per week: £32 per month
- 2 midweek sessions per week: £52 per month
- 3 midweek sessions per week: £80 per month
Team fees are collected by monthly Direct Debit over 10 months, September to June.
Registration is £60, including match kit and registration. Matches are included in the monthly team fees. There may occasionally be small additional charges for extra venue hire and referee costs; we aim to keep these to a minimum.
Open coaching sessions
Open sessions cost £7–£10 per session, depending on the session, and are paid monthly through the Spond app. Check the relevant group for your session’s price and payment information.
What happens if my child leaves a team?
Please give one month’s notice through Spond. Team fees remain payable during the notice period.
Attendance & cancellations
Can holiday absences be taken off our fees?
We can adjust fees for holidays and other planned absences when enough advance notice is given. Please contact us through Spond before the absence so we can agree the adjustment.
What if my child is ill?
Missed sessions due to illness are not deducted from fees.
What happens with a long-term injury?
If an injury keeps your child out for more than a month, we can discuss a fee adjustment. Please let us know through Spond.
What if LINK cancels a session?
If LINK cancels because of weather or venue closure, we will add a replacement session at the end of the season. Watch your Spond group for updates.
Kit & footwear
What should my child bring?
Please wear LINK training kit, appropriate footwear and shin pads, and bring drinking water. If attending a first taster and you do not yet have LINK kit, ask us what to wear.
Check whether your session is on grass, 3G or Astro before attending:
- Astro: trainers.
- 3G: moulded football boots.
- Grass: footwear suitable for the pitch and conditions; check your session’s guidance.
Where should parents watch?
For training and matches on Astro or 3G, parents must remain outside the playing area and watch from behind the fence.
