Open coaching sessions
- Choose a session. Check the age group and session information, or ask us for help.
- Request to join Spond. Find your session on our Spond groups page, open the invite and follow the prompts to join.
- Wait for LINK’s approval. We review requests and help confirm the right session for your child.
- Arrange your free first taster. Use Spond to confirm when your child will attend. Check the venue and footwear guidance before coming.
- Continue and pay through Spond. Open sessions cost £7–£10 per session and are paid monthly through the app. Follow the payment request and instructions in your group.
- Keep attendance up to date. Use Spond for communication, attendance and session updates.
LINK FC teams
- Send a new-player enquiry. Tell us your child’s age and football experience through our enquiry form.
- Arrange a trial. LINK will help you find the appropriate squad and confirm the next step. Your child’s first session is a free taster.
- Agree a place and training option. Discuss the team and number of weekly midweek sessions with your coach.
- Complete player registration. Use the appropriate 2026/27 registration form supplied by your coach or found in the website’s Team Registration menu. Registration is £60, including match kit and registration, and is required for league matches.
- Join your team’s Spond group. Request to join through the team directory. Once approved, use Spond for matches, attendance and communication.
- Set up monthly Direct Debit. Choose the option agreed with your coach: £32 for one midweek session per week, £52 for two or £80 for three. Use our team payments page. Contact LINK first if you need a sibling discount.
Team fees are collected over 10 months, September to June. Please give one month’s notice when leaving a team. Occasional small extra venue or referee charges may apply.
